TNT Express es una empresa de servicios de mensajería internacional. Es una subsidiaria de FedEx, con sede en Hoofddorp, Holanda.
El 26 de mayo de 2011, TNT Express se separó de su empresa matriz, TNT NV, cotiza en la Euronext de Amsterdam. TNT NV posteriormente se renombró a sí misma como PostNL.
En marzo de 2012, UPS anunció su intención de adquirir TNT Express por 6.700 millones de dólares. Sin embargo, el acuerdo se cerró en enero de 2013, después de que se anunciara que UPS no había obtenido el permiso de la Comisión Europea, y como tal, había sido bloqueada por motivos de competencia.
En abril de 2015, FedEx anunció su intención acordada de comprar TNT Express por 4.400 millones de euros, ya que buscaba expandir sus operaciones en Europa. La Comisión Europea inició una nueva investigación sobre la adquisición prevista. El 8 de enero de 2016, la Comisión Europea aprobó el trato, y se completó el 25 de mayo de 2016.
En agosto de 2017, TNT Express se vio gravemente afectada por el ciberataque NotPetya, en parte porque algunas operaciones y sistemas de comunicación tienen su base en Ucrania, donde se originó el ciberataque. TNT Express tuvo que operar utilizando procesos manuales durante un período considerable creando grandes atrasos. Algunos registros se perdieron por completo.
