TAP Air Portugal Cargo Tracking 047 - informazioni sul corriere

TAP Air Portugal è la compagnia aerea di bandiera del Portogallo, con sede all'aeroporto di Lisbona che funge anche da hub. TAP - Transportes Aéreos Aéreos Portugueseses - è membro dell'Alleanza Star Alliance dal 2005 e opera in media 2.500 voli settimanali verso 90 destinazioni in 34 paesi in tutto il mondo. La compagnia ha una flotta di 100 aerei, tutti prodotti da Airbus ad eccezione di 22 prodotti da Embraer e ATR, che operano per conto della compagnia aerea regionale TAP Express.

Nel giugno 2015 la compagnia è stata semi-privatizzata ed è diventata di proprietà del Consorzio Atlantic Gateway, guidato da David Neeleman, che ha fondato JetBlue e Azul Brazilian Airlines e co-fondato WestJet, insieme all'imprenditore portoghese Humberto Pedrosa. L'Atlantic Gateway Consortium ha acquistato il 61% del vettore dal governo portoghese il 24 giugno 2015, con l'opzione di acquistare la restante quota del 34% del governo portoghese nel 2018. Questo accordo è stato circondato da polemiche perché è stato completato alla fine del mandato del governo di centro-destra con un'ampia opposizione da parte dei dipendenti TAP.

Nell'ottobre 2015, un nuovo governo di sinistra ha cercato di restituire allo Stato il controllo di maggioranza della compagnia aerea, avendo firmato nel febbraio 2016 un accordo con il consorzio privato, che indica che la compagnia è posseduta per il 50% dallo Stato portoghese, per il 45% dal Consorzio Atlantic Gateway e per il 5% a disposizione dei collaboratori e dipendenti di TAP Air Portugal. TAP Air Cargo opera una media di 2 500 voli settimanali, con una flotta moderna e sicura di 80 aerei da trasporto merci.
