101+ Kg or in case of domestic shipments more than 150 cubic feet/500 cm volume capacity or international shipment over 200cm capacity up till 1000cm each additional 400 INR plus actual costs by the kilometer will be charged.

The following items are considered as part of this service:

Items that have a dimensional weight of less than 20 pounds (otherwise the items are considered as part of Blue Dart AE service). Important: dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying length, height and width. For example, if an item has dimensions of 12” x 16” x 24” then its dimensional weight will be 384 lbs.
Electronic equipment such as battery chargers, speakers etc.; these items must be packed in strong boxes or cases to ensure protection from damage during transit. This service includes free insurance up to $100 against loss/damage however customers can opt for additional coverage at cost depending on their requirement – this feature makes it ideal for business shipments with high value goods. Insurance claims may take upto 30 days to settle.
The shipment must originate from a BlueDart service center/hub and should be collected by the consignee or his representative at the destination within 24 hours of arrival. In case this time frame is not met, an additional fee will be charged for storage beyond 48 hours (this option is available only in India). This can result into delays – therefore, customers are advised to plan their shipments accordingly so as to avoid any inconvenience.

Larger items are considered as part of this service such as – sofas; beds etc.; however, these must be packaged/prepared accordingly to ensure safe transit during the transport process. Customers can opt for additional coverage against loss or damage up to $1000 per shipment.
