The main features of EMS parcel delivery include:

  • Track shipments via the online system;
  • Express service for urgent deliveries. There are often express options available on your shipping selection menu;
  • Insurance and compensation for loss or damage. If your parcel is lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen you can claim a refund from the courier if this feature has been purchased.

How long does EMS shipping take?

EMS shipping takes between five and ten days.

It can be very confusing when you are trying to track your EMS shipment. Sometimes, the tracking tool only shows one update even though there have been many updates made since it was recorded at the post office.

How do I track my China Post EMS parcel?

To track your parcel from China Post EMS via China Post EMS, you need to have a tracking number. If you don't have one, please go to the China Post EMS official website and click on "Track & Trace" at the top of the page.

The first thing you will see is "Enter your Tracking Number". Enter your tracking number there and hit enter again. Then, two windows will pop up: “Search by Express Invoice” and “Check Outbox Items or Shipments” (next image).

If you want to track packages that are already shipped out through this service provider, check “Outbox Items or Shipments” then input your shipment code(s) in the box under it; if not then search for items that haven't been shipped out yet by checking “Check Outbox Items or Shipments”.

After you search for your parcel, a list of results will show up; click on the one that matches yours to see where it's at and what its status is. The whole process takes around 30 seconds to finish after all is done.

How do I ship with EMS?

If you ship using EMS, please remember that the weight of each piece must not exceed 30kg (66 pounds) and its dimensions must not exceed 90cm x 60cm x 60cm (35 inches by 23inches by 23inches). You also need to follow other requirements based on where you send your package:

  • if sending from China: maximum length allowed for parcels sent within mainland China is 150cm; maximum length allowed when sending internationally is 154 cm or 334 cm in case of bulk shipments; maximum width and height are both 90 centimeters;
  • if sending from Hong Kong: the maximum length allowed for all shipments (including those going within HK territory) is 150cm; width and height must not exceed 90 centimeters.

If you ship your parcel internationally, please remember about different requirements based on the destination country - here are some general guidelines:

  • Russia requires delivery notification by phone or fax - customers need to provide a contact number during checkout for their shipment to clear customs efficiently.
  • Brazil requires that the consignee's name matches the importer's details exactly. Nobody will be held liable for any delays or damages incurred due to incorrect address information being provided by customers at the checkout - please ensure you have your customer's correct contact details on file before shipping items to this country!
  • If sending packages from China, please note that some countries may require a security deposit to clear customs successfully. This is more common when sending parcels internationally rather than within mainland China where our warehouses are located. Please check with local authorities if required before shipment.

If you have any questions about shipping your EMS parcels from our warehouses, please contact Customer Service for more details!

Can EMS be trusted to send parcels internationally?

EMS is an international courier service that can be used to send packages internationally. One may wonder if this method of shipping parcels through the post office is trustworthy considering it’s not as speedy as DHL or FedEx, but for some people, EMS works just fine.

About Express Mail Service (EMS)

The Express Mail Service (EMS) is an international express courier service developed by the United Nations in 1969. It is guaranteed by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) which operates within the United Nations.

The EMS provides for urgent delivery of post and other mail items, including parcels containing goods to enable companies worldwide to compete in global markets. The service ensures that no item will be delivered more than three days after it has been sent from its country of origin. This includes shipments between countries as well as domestically within different regions or cities of one particular country. If an international shipment takes longer than this time period, compensation can be claimed courier company who are insured up until 45 days.

Express Mail Service EMS's history in the US dates back to 1969 when it was incepted by Federal Express.

It is one of six major international express courier services, with its counterparts being China EMS, SWISSMEX (Switzerland), FedEx EMS, and TNT (UK). The other two are national post carriers: DHL Global Mail and UPS Mail Innovations.

EMS allows you to send your items in bulk but also has flexibility so that each item can be tracked separately using its own barcode label making them easier to track than ever before! The system works by scanning these labels at different stages along their journey until they reach their destination.

EMS provides for urgent deliveries from domestic to international destinations within three days or less using air transport. Express mail items can be sent from/to any member country through postal operators by either sending them as ordinary or registered mails. Each member country has regulations on the transportation options available to senders for this type of mail. In general, they include non-urgent letters up to 1000g, urgent letters up to 500g, urgent parcels, and EMS packets.

The average cost of sending a parcel through this method usually runs between $20 -$50 per 500g, depending on location and weight. This low-cost solution makes it one of the cheapest options when compared with other couriers like DHL or FedEx which can be up to ten times more expensive in some cases!

EMS is known for its reliability as well as fast delivery time.
