What is Hong Kong Post e-express tracking?
Hong Kong Post's e-express tracking service uses the global positioning system or GPS. The program is easy to use and provides a detailed report of your parcel's location as well as its temperature at any given time.
Hong Kong post introduced an innovative new service that has already proven useful for many people around the world: their e-express tracking feature! This handy little tool allows you to track not only when shipments are sent out but also where they've gone along with how warm it was during transit (a potential lifesaver if someone were sending something fragile). It can even be used on parcels being shipped internationally so you don't have to worry about them going astray while traveling abroad—just enter the package number and Hong Kong will do
With an HKPost e-Express Tracking account, you can track your packages while they are in transit. You will receive periodic updates on the location and status of each shipment as it moves along its journey to reach their destination:
- Track by location - This option will provide you with information about where the parcel is currently located, such as the date and time of departure or arrival at a terminal
- Track by status - With this feature, customers can find out which stage their package has reached in its journey, for example, if they click on "track by status" while the parcel is at a terminal, they will see the date and time of departure or arrival
- Track by service number - This option allows you to find out which HK Post e-express service your package has been dispatched under
- Track by Reference Number/Postal Code - If customers use this feature while their package is still in transit, it will provide them with an expected delivery date. Customers can also select "search" from the drop-down menu for more options
- Mail Online Services (MO) - With MO service, parcels may be delivered electronically between internet-connected computers. Once sent through the system, there's no need for additional postage because each tracking notification is sent as an email to the customer's inbox.
- SMS Service (SMS) - This option is for customers who don't have internet access at home or work, and will receive HK Post e-express tracking notifications through text messages instead of emails. To find out more about how this service works please go to the site.
- Browsing Tracking History Online (TR) - Customers can also track their shipments by selecting "Track using Reference Number/Postal Code" from a dropdown menu near the top left corner of your screen. Alternatively, they may click on "search". When doing so, it will provide them with all available information connected with that parcel; including the expected delivery date.
