Where does JNE Express can deliver?

JNE Express can deliver across Indonesia. You will need to know the exact address for your shipment, so you have something specific and clear on which they can focus their efforts. That includes areas in Java that are outside of major cities like Yogyakarta or Solo, as well as remote islands such as Bali or Sumatra - but not all of them.

Generally, the service is available in most major cities - but due to heavy demand and a growing customer base that is also shipping more packages every day, there are some areas where you will not be able to use JNE Express delivery services for your package:

remote islands such as Bali or Sumatra;
small remote villages that are not yet covered by the service.

If you're sending your package from a remote island, it is better to use JNE Express Surabaya instead of Jakarta.

Is JNE Express delivery expensive?

No. JNE Express is actually quite affordable, especially if you compare it to other express courier services in Indonesia. It’s not even more expensive than the regular ones like TIKI or POS Indonesia.

Is JNE Express delivery fast?

The JNE Express delivery isn’t exactly fast, but it is a quick service. It takes approximately 24 hours to deliver an item from Jakarta and up to two days outside of the city. Many people use this as their go-to shipping method because even though there are faster services available that take only one day or less, they aren't consistent with their timing every time you send something out.

How to contact JNE Express?

JNE Express offers several different ways that you can reach out to them. You can call their customer service team, fill out a form on the JNE website and send an email. If your package is time-sensitive or if you need help with something immediately, then calling in might not be the best option for you. However, sometimes it's easier to have all of these options available just in case! Contacting JNE through any one of those methods will allow them to contact your local branch so they can start looking into what happened with your shipment right away.

About JNE

Its main name is Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (Tiki JNE). Nowadays, Tiki JNE is better known as JNE.

On November 26, 1990 Mr H Soeprapto Suparno founded the PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir. The company began first as a department of PT Citra Van Titipan Kilat (TiKi), which focussed on worldwide networking.

Starting with 8 people and a starting capital of 100 million rupiahs, JNE started majoring on custom-made clearance and circulation for inbound carrier and freight shipments to Indonesia.

In 1991, JNE set up its own global network by joining the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which enables JNE to offer delivery services worldwide. As the business was concentrated on international deliveries, JNE signed up with hands with other courier business in Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong, by forming the Association Courier Conference of Asia (ACCA).

By TiKi's domestic network and its name, this offered JNE the opportunity and competitive benefit over its domestic rivals. In the upcoming years, JNE expanded its services by its operations in logistics and circulation and launched special services.

Since of this evolvement, both JNE and TiKi ended up being rivals. Ultimately, it was chosen that JNE must be a business on its own, therefore having its own management, goals, and so on.

Due to the fact that of its development, JNE extended its possessions by purchasing structures in 2002 and established the JNE Sorting. Later in 2004, the JNE head office was purchased and developed. Both its head workplace and its operations center are located in Jakarta.

Nowadays, JNE continues to grow and it reinforced its position on the domestic market.
