The Ministry of Posts & Telecoms is the Federal government of Liberia organization responsible to establish and promote a people-friendly postal market and set the program of ICT and Telecom in Liberia.

The Ministry of Post of Posts and Telecommunications was developed in 1956 at first mandated by an act of the Liberian Legislature to bring out Postal Services across the length and breadth of Liberia. In 1978, its mandate was customized to consist of the administration and guideline of Telecommunications services in Liberia. The Telecommunications Act of 2007 even more changed the Ministry's functions to provide the policy agenda for the advancement of ICT and Telecommunications in Liberia.
