The Skicka Lätt PostNord parcel service is a great way to send small, lightweight parcels. It allows you to save on both postage and packaging costs as the recipient pays for it upon receiving their item! This makes it perfect if your items are fragile or easily breakable since there won't be any need for extra protective measures such as bubble wrap etc. The items can be sent through DHL Parcels, PostNord Logistics, or UPS. 

What is a PostNord bulky mail?

PostNord bulky mail is a service that makes it possible for you to send large objects, such as furniture, sports equipment, and doors. 

PostNord has two options available when sending bulky mails: 

• Bulk letters with goods - A bulk letter may contain items that are not dangerous or prohibited in international postal traffic (not more than 35 kg). Bulk letters must by law be regarded as normal letters and not insured. The maximum weight of a bulk letter with goods is 20 kg, the length must not exceed one meter, and width and height should together not exceed 80 cm. 
• Bulk large objects - This type of shipment may contain articles (not dangerous) which would otherwise need to be sent by an international parcel carrier. A delivery time of up to 28 days applies for this service – please that there can sometimes be a delay of up to 14 days in the delivery time. The maximum weight for a bulk large object is 200 kg, and the length must not exceed three meters (length plus girth combined).

What are the packaging restrictions for PostNord?

Packages must not exceed 114 cm in combined length and girth, which is the sum of its three dimensions. The size applies to both packages being sent domestically or internationally. 

Which items are prohibited from being sent with PostNord?

As a rule, anything that can be considered dangerous is prohibited from being sent with PostNord. These items include:

• explosives, gases, and flammable liquids such as lighter fluid and acetone; 
• corrosives like mercury thermometers and car batteries, radioactive materials, etc.; 
• compressed air cylinders (you may send aerosol cans but not in their compressed state), poisons, etc.; 
• ammunition of all kinds including blank cartridges for starting pistols; 
• offensive weapons such as knives, knuckle dusters, etc; 
• martial arts equipment such as nunchucks.

How long does it take for PostNord to deliver?

It depends on where you live, but most of the packages from Denmark to Sweden are delivered within a few days. In the case of international delivery, it takes about one month for PostNord to deliver your parcels and shipments. This is not very long considering that many other services take up to six weeks or even more! If you want a package sooner, we also offer express shipping via DHL Express which delivers in only two working days.

How long does shipping take when sending with PostNord?

When you send with PostNord, your package will be delivered to the receiving party within an average of two days. The exact delivery time depends on the destination country and type of shipment sent. For example, if sending a small packet or letter from Sweden to Denmark it would take one working day for the item to arrive at its destination whereas sending a larger parcel might take up to six business days due to customs clearance procedures in some countries outside Scandinavia.
