Sagawa offers a plethora of different-sized parcels for your shipment. The available sizes are:

Mini (up to 30kg) - A small package that is perfect for lighter items such as phones, computers, and books. It does not require separate insurance coverage but please note the maximum dimensions are 100cm x 60cm x 50cm. Mini boxes can fit comfortably into doorways in Japan without having to be removed from their box.
Small & Medium Boxes (from 31-70kg) – Perfect for heavier packages like clothes or other items weighing up to 70 kgs! Maximum dimension limits are 120 cm length and width 70 cm depth.
Corrugated Boxes (from 31-70kg) – This option is perfect for slightly larger boxes, packages, or items that do not fit within the small and medium box size restrictions. The maximum dimensions are 120cm x 80cm x 65cm.
Large Corrugated Boxes (31-70 kgs) - Perfect for big bulky parcels like comforters, futons, large books, etc! Maximum dimension limits are 120 cm length and width 70 cm depth. Please note these size restrictions do vary depending on region/location.
Extra Large & Extra Long Corrugated Boxes up to 100kg - Designed especially for objects such as bicycles frames, surfboards, and other long items this box can handle any sized package weighing between 100kg - 200 kg. Maximum dimension limits are 150 cm length and width 83cm depth.
Large Packages & Furniture (for anything over 70kg) – For big bulky items, this box is perfect for any sized package weighing in between up to 700 kgs! The maximum dimensions are 120cm x 80cm x 65cm.

Please note these size restrictions do vary depending on region/location. All available sizes also come inclusive with Sagawa’s insurance cover of 500 000 yen per shipment at no extra cost upon request.

How long does it take to Sagawa to deliver my parcel?

Sagawa Express delivers parcels and packages on weekdays. You can be sure that your parcel is delivered within the day you arrange for it to be shipped out if you opt for their premium service, EMS Next Day. Other delivery services take anywhere between two days up to five working days depending on where in Japan your destination is located and what time of the year it is (New Year holidays etc.). Generally speaking, deliveries are made from Monday through Friday but there are exceptions too! If you have special circumstances such as wanting a specific date or period when Sagawa should deliver your package/parcel then please call them on phone.

Does Sagawa only deliver in Japan?

Sagawa can deliver to any location in Japan or even internationally. The only catch is that you need an official Japanese business address registered with your company/organization's name on it (e.g., Company ABC Tokyo Office). Unfortunately, this means that some international companies cannot use Sagawa because they don't have such an office registered within Japan.
