Established in 1984 in Rome by Alberto Astolfi and the Cecchetti bros, it expanded to reach a turnover of around 308 billion lire in 1997. In 1998 it was the topic of the overall acquisition by the Poste Italiane group. This transaction, which likewise involved the acquisition of extra companies, was the topic of attention by the national media which assessed it in general, for that reason with reference to the acquisition also of other different companies, in the amount of about 200, or 220 billion lire; once again in the same context, issues were raised with relative clarifications.
