Is Sendle legit?
Sendle is legit because it allows you to ship parcels and packages in Australia. Unlike other courier companies, Sendle doesn't take a large fee for each parcel sent which makes it affordable and the ideal service for small businesses that need to send items across the country or even overseas quickly.
Does Sendle use Australia Post?
No. Sendle uses a wide network of over 90 couriers to ship items across Australia and New Zealand, including Fastway Couriers, TNT Express Australia & DHL Global Mail.
How long does Sendle take to deliver?
Delivery time depends on location and delivery method. For example, a parcel sent to Melbourne from Sydney will arrive much quicker than one sent from Brisbane. In the case of Sendle Parcels Express, this is usually within 24 hours but can be up to 48 depending on what you have tagged as priority. It's always best to use an express service for urgent deliveries or if they are required by a certain date.
What are Sendle shipping costs?
Sendle charges $12.50 per package, with the first one free. For example, if you send three packages that cost a total of $25 then you will only pay for two at Sendle prices.
About Sendle
Sendle is a great service for those who frequently send out packages and want to avoid the hassle of going through Australia Post. The company claims that they offer you ‘Australia's fastest, cheapest and greenest delivery.' Sendle deliveries are often processed at night time when there’s less traffic on the roads - this reduces carbon emissions as well.
Sendle's history dates back to 2012 when they began in Sydney. The service was introduced due to the increasing demand for fast courier services which are also more affordable than traditional Australia Post deliveries.
Today, Sendle is one of Australia's most well-known couriers who focus on small parcels only (under 30kg).
However, they also offer a freight service which is available for more bulky items.
The company has its own fleet of trucks and drivers who are very experienced in all types of delivery services - you can always use one of them to send out an order no matter how large or small it may be.
Services Sendle is offering:
- On-demand service - you can book delivery at any moment, even the same day. The average processing time is 12 hours and the price for this type of shipment starts from $12.
- Nighttime deliveries (between 18:00 to 06:30 am) are processed during off-peak times which means that Sendle will have less traffic on the roadways so it's more likely that your order arrives within the expected timeframe. This option does not include Saturday or Sunday deliveries though.
- Freight services are available as well, but they're charged per kilometer with an extra fee depending on the weight/size of the package. Prices start from just $18 + GST per parcel. If you need to send out several packages, the company offers discounts for this type of service.
This is how Sendle works.
The biggest advantage of their service compared to Australia Post deliveries (that are not express) is that you can track your order in real-time.
You're notified every step of the way - when it's picked up, out for delivery, and then successfully delivered right into your hands at home or office. This makes Sendle one of the most reliable courier companies which deliver on its promises! Their drivers also carry GPS units with them making sure that all parcels arrive safely without any problems along the way.
