Solomon Post - information about carrier

The Solomon Islands Postal Corporation was developed by ACT of Parliament through powers vested to the Corporation by the Solomon Islands Postal Corporation Act 1996. The functions of the Corporation will be:

1. To supply Postal Services within the Solomon Islands and other countries,
2. To bring on any service or activity connecting to Postal Services, and to bring on organisation or activity which is incidental to postal services.

The Corporation is governed by the Board of Directors upon which the Executive is reporting. The Chief Executive Officer has two Deputies representing the two significant departments. The two Deputies must make sure the everyday operation of both divisions is accomplished and reported to the executive.
